James P. Booker is an Associate in the firm’s Cleveland office. His focus is on securities arbitration as well as class action cases involving investment, employment, and health matters. James has represented hundreds of investors across the world who fell victim to malicious investment schemes and those who received negligent investment advice.
James joined the firm in 2014 and has spent the entirety of his legal career representing individuals who have been harmed due to willful or negligent misconduct. He has recovered millions of dollars for the firm’s clients through numerous class actions, arbitrations, and mediations.
James received his law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, cum laude, in 2013. While at Cleveland-Marshall, he served as an associate editor for the Journal of Law and Health and was the president of Cleveland-Marshall’s chapter of The Federalist Society.
Before attending law school, James graduated from The Ohio State University, cum laude, with a degree in Health Sciences. After graduating from Ohio State, James worked for Ruffalo Noel Levitz, a higher education service provider.
James is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (PIABA), an international bar association whose members represent investors in disputes with the securities industry. James serves as a member of PIABA’s Bylaws and Membership committees.
